Find out why it is that most racing enthusiasts will not watch the parade that is Formula 1 today. Here in these videos we can see the TRUE nature of competitive driving. The Turbo era, the mammoth horsepower that propelled these machines to the limit. The true champions of Formula 1 such as *Ayrton Senna*, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, and Alain Prost. This is an excellent video compilation which goes into the history and intricacies of the world of Formula 1. My only complaint is that it ends chronologically with the 1991 season. It would be nice if they make an updated or an addendum of videos that cover the seasons (cars, drivers, races, highlights, etc.) from 1992 up to the present.

This four-volume series is the definitive video chronicle of Formula One racing, showing the cars in action, going behind the scenes with the designers and mechanics, and profiling the greatest Grand Prix drivers of all-time. The series includes The Legendary Cars (Vol. 1), The Great Drivers (Vol. 2), The Thrill of Formula 1 (Vol. 3) and The Grand Prix (Vol. 4). Worth the price of the set alone is the fantastic footage, frequently excerpted but seen here in full, of Senna's 1991 qualifying lap at Monaco. A must have for every F1 video collection!
