PRODUCT ORDERED RECEIVED AS PROMISED November 22, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The watch I ordered arrived ON TIME as promised. Only time will tell if the watch continues to be what I expected but for now it's fine.

classic September 16, 2008 this is a nice classic retro watch which goes good while riding my retro triumph motorcycle.couple of teenagers comment that it is a old man watch but i just reply that it is a classic watch.had for a month went swimming in 3 ft water and the indiglo stopped working and condensation began to build inside the glass other than that love the watch everybody that sees it wants me to order them one.by the way sent it back to timex for warranty so hopefully that works out.
Simplicity and dependability August 24, 2008 I purposely bought this watch because of past experince with other Timex watches. I want a watch that gives me essential information that is accurate. I set my watch by a satelite clock and forget it. Past experience has shown me that these simple Timex watches will be accurate down to the second even after one year of use. With modern battery technology they seem to go for year after year. I beat up these watches working outdoors way before they ever quit. I have one Timex watch that I bought over 10 years ago while on active duty military. It is beat to death on the outside. It has gone through several bands and yet it keep on working without flaw. I am so please to find another Timex quality watch for such an inexpensive price.
A simple watch March 26, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Keeps time good. Easy to adjust the band size (Sometimes is a little tedious though) It looks sharp without the high price tag. Even though it doesn't look like it, pretty rugged, at least from my experience with this particular Timex line. Very easy to read the #'s on the face.
Now the negatives. If you flip the watch over and look at the back cover it says "WR 30 M". Well I have had water get into several of these watches, it was a very small amount though, just enough to fog up the watch. So just be careful to make sure you take it off before washing dishes, or a shower.
Secondly, changing the day and date is a pain in the rear to some degree. Onces its set, no big deal. Basically, it would be nice if Time installed another knob on the watch. Right across from the current one. Dedicated specifically to the day and date.(This way it would look balanced?)
Would I recommend it? Yeah I would. For the price you get yourself quite a decent good looking rugged watch. It's easy to avoid the water. And like I said, once you get the day and date set, no problems there either.
Like all products it could be better.

My wife says that this is an "old man's" watch, but I like it. It's simple and fuctional.
