The case is chrome, and the dramatic red face is prominently embellished with contrasting Arabic numerals. The watch comes equipped with a durable buckle clasp and black leather band. Engraved Arabic numerals adorn the silver bezel. For additional time-telling convenience, the watch has a date calendar which rests at the four o'clock position, and three chronograph sub-dials reliably measure seconds, minutes, and hours. Other components include the Indiglo night light and luminescent hands. Powered by analog-quartz movement, this classy timepiece is a must-have for all fashion-savvy wilderness enthusiasts. When in doubt, read the manual August 5, 2008 This is my second watch in the Timex Expedition series. For the price, the looks and function are exactly what I was looking for. I bought the black version first, and then the red/stainless one. At first I was disappointed in the red one because the second hand for the chronometer wasn't centered. It was about two seconds from the 12 o'clock position, just a bit irritating, but I figured acceptable in an inexpensive watch. Then I discovered that the alarm worked sprodically. Disappointing. I was just about to send it back but decided to review the instructions again. Radical concept, eh? When in doubt, read the instructions? Using this revolutionary technique I was able to quickly re-set the chronometer hand to where it is perfectly aligned. I also re-learned the proper way to use the alarm so it works perfectly as well. I wasn't pulling the knob to the correct spot. So, aside from the fact that this watch made me feel really stupid, I really like it. I was out-witted by a Timex. Read the instructions ... who would have thunk it?
Perfect Timex! July 12, 2008 Well made watch. you can think: It seems too expensive, but not.. Affordable and beautiful and comes with a stainless Steel Case, INDIGLO night-light, bezel tachymeter, Easy set alarm feature/4-hour chronograph function measures time zone change
Handy timepiece July 12, 2008 The styling initially caught my eye. I definitely was not disappointed when I saw the watch on my arm. It is nice to use when timing fun stuff; but it is very helpful and easy to use for serious timing. The control buttons are conviently located. The alarm and the Indiglo functions are also, very useful. I would recommend this timepiece to anyone who needs these functions. I would certainly purchase another one if it became necessary.

I gave this watch as a gift and the recipient was thrilled with it. It has a lot of extras and he really liked showing me everything it can do.

Timex Men's Expedition Watch #T42361 Elegant yet very rugged, perfect size for a mans wrist. Perfect for work yet elegant for dinner night out. Great watch but if you have older eyes you will have slight trouble seeing the dial against the colored background in dim light...use backlight or get a watch with a lighter background.
