Amazon.com Product Description Harnessing the power you generate with each movement, this Seiko Men's Kinetic Silver-Tone Watch #SKA347 features a dramatic black dial face, which is encased by a hardlex dial window. Silver-tone hour and minute indexes bring a stylish contrast, and an additional ring of Arabic numerals ensures an at-a-glance readability. A handy date calendar rests at the four o'clock position, and the stationary, stainless steel bezel is embellished with additional time-telling hour indexes. Other details include the silver-tone, stainless steel band that comes equipped with a fold-over-clasp-with-push-button closure, and a 40-millimeter stainless steel case. Powered by Japanese kinetic movement, this watch is water resistant up to 330 feet.

Great, solid men's watch January 7, 2009 I got this watch for my boyfriend for Christmas, I thought he'd like the kinetic feature (he loves tech gadgets, especially when they're functional). He really got a kick out of it. Sometimes I see him rocking the watch back and forth just for fun.
My only concern is that as you move the watch, it makes a slight noise that sounds like something grinding. When you turn the watch over and look through the clear backing, you can see this piece of metal rotate as you swing the watch to charge it. It's very neat looking, and I love the clear background, but the noise was a little worrisome. The manual says the noise is ok and expected, but in a quiet room you can hear it.
It's a solidly built watch, and it looks great. I purchased it because of the great reviews I had seen about the company. It has a professional look, but still young and a little sporty. My boyfriend is a grad student, so he needs something nicer than his old sports watch, but something he can still wear everyday around town.
Finally, the date function needs to be adjusted every month to account for months with 30 and 31 days. Perhaps people expect this, but coming from a digital watch, it seems like a bit of a hassle. I saw another Seiko that automatically adjusts the date for something like 100 years, but it was out of my price range. This one does the job, it just requires some upkeep.
One of My Favorites October 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this watch in Las Vegas at Dillard's in the Fashion Mall. I looked in almost every store in the mall, and this one was my favorite in my price range.
I was looking for a kinetic watch with a stainless steel, silver-tone band and this one fit the bill perfectly. I have many watches and change from watch to watch depending on my tastes at the moment, but I keep coming back to this one. It's a beautiful watch without being too flashy. I work in sales and it's important to convey just the right image. This watch shows class and good taste.
Seiko Kinetic - Great Watch October 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased the watch last month. It looks great, very comfortable. Works as described and is high quality. Some friends really like it. The watch has a simple, elegant style. The kinetic charge is great, it fully charged itself after two days of wear.
It is my first Seiko. I will definitely go with Seiko again if I ever need a new/different watch.
Great Dressy Watch! September 17, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I spent a long time trying to find a watch that my boyfriend would like that fit his criteria: 1. Metal Band 2. No unusual colors 3. Classy, yet not outdated 4. Will last longer than a year or two 5. Could survive falling into water 6. No battery 7. Masculine sized band and face
This watch fulfilled all the requirements, and actually looked even nicer in person than in the picture. I was surprised with how expensive this watch looks. I would say it looks more expensive than many watches over double in price. If you're looking for a good high quality watch in the $150-$200 range, don't hesitate to get this watch.
