And so does my son. The ease of use for the countdown timer is unique and vital. I can set it in the dark, while driving, while talking to someone else... anywhere any time! It has saved my bacon again and again. I've owned about 7 in the 15 yrs I've been using it and couldn't live without it. Not too large helps. Sensible and functional helps too. But in the end it's the one touch countdown timer: because how would my boy know when his 3 minutes time-out is up? Or his five minutes?? (We can't do four with any graciousness). And how would I remember to make the phonecall when I get home without setting the 20 minute timer while driving? Love it.
Casio Timer Watch, my favorite watch October 4, 2008
This has been my favorite watch for many years, I have looked elsewhere and called watch companies for it's unique timer option (A press of the button for 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 minute countdowns, no going into menus etc.). I wish it came in more fashionable choices. But it is the only watch I will wear until it does. LOVE IT!

I found that the countdown timer only does certain preset times - 1,3,5,10,15,20,30 minutes. I needed a 14 and a 25 minute timer, neither of which are options. The watch was a nice size (I'm trying to replace a big clunky sports watch), but the timer function was not what I needed it to be.

I have bought this watch for more than 10 years. EASY to use, and the countdown feature is AWESOME! I HATE those watches with all the complex features; this once suits my needs perfectly! It lasts me 2-3 years. I went back to Wal-Mart today to buy another, and they stopped carrying them. I, too, would've given this watch 5 stars if it had a light feature. Otherwise, it's PERFECT. . .and I've never had any issues with it.
Outstanding and addictive July 11, 2008
I have been using these watches for 15 yrs. The preset countdown alarm is a lifesaver. And as I spend more time around others, they lean over and use my watch for its features. Completely addictive. Love it. I replace immediately when I occasionally smash one.
