  Functional Web Cam December 31, 2008
I am happy with the quality of the web cam. It takes good video and has clear sound. The only thing that I am disappointed with is the computer mount. It is kind of awkward and sometimes falls off of my computer. Otherwise it works great!

Although this is the first webcam I have ever used, I am very pleased with the performance and the quality of the picture and sound. I have seen others and have not been impressed with how grainy the picture is and how the sound and the action are not in sync. But the people I send video emails to all compliment the quality of the sound and the picture. I have recommended this product to friends and family. One friend actually purchased one once he saw the quality of my video email. This was a good purchase.

I have never used a webcam (8ig n00b!) before, so I have no basis for comparison - my 5 stars is based on a month of use. I read the directions, installed the software, plugged it in, booted up, and it has worked perfectly since.
I like the look of the thing - it's not blue as depicted in the photos; it's silver, and feels sturdy enough. The picture is clear. Sound (I'm told) is good and the mic is not so directional that someone walking room can't be heard if they speak up a bit, but seated in front of it I just use a regular speaking voice and everyone can hear me. There's no feedback at all, either - I expected some.
There are units out there for $125, but I can't imagine what for - this thing is perfect for us.
